  • a pathogen is: a bacterium, virus, or other microorganism that can cause disease.
  • defintion of pathogen:a pathogen is an infectious agent that causes illness or diseases to the host.
  • pathogens enter the body though the air or though touching surfaces
  • once in the body pathogens can multiply rapidly. for example when a virus gets into your body it goes into the blood stream attacking the blood cells
  • definition of pathogen: a microorganism causing disease's to its host
  • it attaches itself to the cell though proteins and embeds itself in the cell to hide from the immune system
  • it then multiples inside the cell until the cell bursts and thousands of virus cells are released
  • they then attach onto the infection and destroy it
  • anitgens are then created by the body to fight off the infection
