Well, I'm off to Cowboy Steakhouse to begin preparing for tonight's dinner rush
The first step to perfect steak is to make a brine and allow the meat to marinate overnight. This will allow the herbs to infuse into the meat.
Once I arrive at Cowboy Steakhouse, I make sure my kitchen is well stocked, clean and sanitary, and all my knives are sharp. I slip into my white coat and get down to work.
While the meat is marinating, it is time to prepare the vegetables. I will julienne the carrots, shuck the corn, dice the onions, and peel the potatoes.
Many of my customers also prefer a crisp spinach salad with a light vinaigrette with candied walnuts, thinly sliced strawberries, and blue cheese crumbles sprinkled on top.
The time has finally come to grill the steaks to order and begin plating the food for the customers. They will be very happy to know that there is turtle cheesecake, zesty key lime pie, and creme brulee for dessert.
As Tanner enjoys his medium rare t-bone steak, saute green beans, and mashed potatoes Malori is enjoying her peppered steak, steamed vegetables, and salad.
