- In Chapter 7 of The Great Gatsby we see the group coming back down the road only to come across a wreck, hit and run. We later learn that a lady was hit and that lady was Myrtle Wilson. We already have a feeling of who is the culprit of hitting and killing her.
- Chapter 8
- In Chapter 7 of The Great Gatsby we see Jay Gatsby hiding outside of Daisy and Tom Buchanan's home. Nick Carraway came across him while waiting at the gate of their home. Jay Gatsby is trying to make sure daisy is okay.
- Chapter 9
- In Chapter 8 of The Great Gatsby we see Gatsby finally getting home from being at Daisy and Tom Buchannan's home. He's inside of his home talking to Carraway about what had happened at the Buchannan's home.
- Chapter 9
- In Chapter 8 of The Great Gatsby we hear about the death of Jay Gatsby who was murdered or shot in his pool by George Wilson. We later see George Wilson laying in the garden on the ground dead by suicide.
- In Chapter 9 of The Great Gatsby we see policemen and photographers going in and out of Gatsby's home. We later see police tape, newspapers, and a detective spreading word of what had occurred at the Gatsby residence.
- In Chapter 9 of The Great Gatsby we see Tom Buchanan walking ahead of Nick Caraway and stop in front of a jewelry store. he turns around and tries to talk to Nick. Nick asks Tom about Gatsby.
