  • We signed the Four Power Treaty
  • We signed the Five Power Treaty 
  • The United States called for an international meeting in Washington D.C. to work out naval limitations and East Asia agreements. This resulted in 3 major treaties.  
  • This treaty was signed by the U.S., Great Britain, Japan, and France. The was an agreement that the countries would consult each other before engaging in a conflict involving the Asia-Pacific region. 
  • This treaty was signed by the U.S., Great Britain, Japan, France, and Italy. This was an agreement that each country would maintain a certain ratio of ships. 
  • This treaty was signed by the U.S., Great Britain, Japan, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, and China. This was an agreement that each country could equally do business in China and would respect China’s territory.
