- Alright then, are you ready to learn some real stuff about skiing? It is way cooler then just a sport!
- Oh, silly! Come, let's have a sit and rest. I will tell you all about it!
- You are right! But did you know it was not invented as a sport or for fun?
- No way! I know it is a very old practice, but I always thought that it was meant to be for fun!
- Oh, I'm so happy we came to ski! It is the best sport ever invented!
- Go on then, I'm all ears!
- Now I really wonder what she is talking about, I thought skiing was just a sport invented for fancy people!
- The ski is though to have been invented almost 6000 years ago! We think it was the proto-Sámi that came up with it, but recent findings suggest it might even be older and have come form Asia!
- I'llmake sure everyone will know!
- Mh... I've got to find a solution for this... But what to do?
- Stop bragging! I caught the deer!

- Thanks to cave paintings and findings in swamps and peat bogs, we know that skiing was a necessary practice for the Stone Age nomad populations of northern Europe. Not really for sport, but for survival.
- Argh! You're too slow and the snow will slow you down even more!

- Woohoo! Now I'll get you for sure! No more hunger, no more cold!
