- My name is Aadan and this is my daughter Imani. We are from Sierra Leone. My son recently moved to Canada and said it was really good so now we want to come here too.
- Canada also has a better quality of life compared to Sierra Leone. The healthcare system is terrible in our country.
- Healthcare is a priority to us and to immigrants here in Canada. Many immigrants coming here did not have stable healthcare systems, so it is important for us to give you the care you deserve.
- We also believe healthcare should be a priority. We know many people who have died from the poor system.
- That is true. Also, while healthcare affects immigration, the opposite is also true, and immigration affects helathcare. Immigrants make up 1 in 4 people working in healthcare in Canada. Immigrants are very important to us!
- Thank you for helping us today. I did not know these facts about immigrants and healthcare.
- Thank you for providing perspective to me and others. Like I said before, immigrants are very important to Canada and we would not be in the same place we are today without people like you.
