Oh, what a beautiful deer! Can you catch it for me, Swami?
Sure!
Thanks and good luck!
There you go! You should be safe now!
Just a moment!
Alms! Alms to the needy!
Now's my chance!
One day, while in exile, Sita chances upon a beautiful fawn and desires to have it. She asks Ram and Lakshman to get it for her.
AAHHH! UNHAND ME, YOU VILLAIN!
Hah! While Ram is off hunting one deer, he's lost his other dear!
<screams incomprehensibly>
Before departing, however, Lakshman decides to draw a protective boundary called the 'Lakshman Rekha' around their hut to protect Sita from any danger so long as she stayed inside it.
Oh, here comes the spoilsport!
You will abduct Sita over my dead body!
While both Ram and Lakshman are off hunting, Ravan, disguised as an ascetic, approaches Sita and asks for food.
Well, just like me, he got his wish.
When Sita comes out, Ravan drops his disguise and grabs her.
Ravan then abducts Sita and takes her to his chariot to take her to Lanka. There they are accosted by Jattayu, who attacks in an effort to save Sita.
Sadly, Jattayu is mortally wounded and left to die as Ravan rides back to Lanka with Sita as his captive.
