The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street

- Maple Street had many people that they were friends with, but one day something was shooting in the sky over them. After it did, a small boy thought it was aliens, so everyone started to get superstitious.
- "They send four to act like humans, a Mother, Father and two kids."
- "All by itself.he wasn't even near it. it started all by itself"
- People went back and forth placing blame.
- "How come his car started up like that?"
- They shot one of their own, dear o'l Pete Van Horn.
- "No more talk Steve, your'e gonna talk us in a grave!"
- They put Charlie for blame, someone even threw a rock that ended up breaking glass, that cut Charlie.
- "I don't know why the lights were on! I swear I don't!
- Charlie started to blame a young boy, Tommy, for knowing that it might be aliens. People started to think the same.
- In the end, everyone was placing blame, they even went kinda savage like animals. As two figures watched, one told the other, they would continue to make people turn on each other. Place by place.
