And I am his horse, Brownie; we'll show you around!
Hello there! I am a continental soldier!
First, We will show you the camp! Many jobs in the camp included cutting wood, building fires, repairing huts, and more!
The soldier's haversack could contain musketballs, a pennywhistle, playing cards, flint and steel, and other objects
Now, we will talk about whats in this bag, or haversack
A continental soldier would take time whenever he could to look for food. With the days flour and beef ration, the soldiers would Lay the flower on a flat rock, mix it with cool water, smear it on a flat stone, burn it on one side, and roast the beef on a stick in the fire.
Thanks for letting us show you around; we'd better be getting back to camp, see ya next time!
