When the French and Indian war ended, colonists wanted to head west across the Appalachian mountains, but the Proclamation of 1763 stated that they can't. This led the the revolution my making the colonists angry that they couldn't move west.
Intolerable Acts
Colonists protested. Led to war because of the need of independence. Colonists wanted independence because of the taxed paper. Great Britain was mad because they had the stop the taxes.

Colonists took over a ship. Britain lost money. Colonists wanted independence because they had to stop the British. Great Britain lost money and it made them mad.
1st Continental Congress
They closed the Boston harbor. People were mad that Britain was controlling them. They wanted independence because they didn't want to be ruled by Great Britain. Britain was mad because of the colonists protesting.
When the Sugar Act passed, people stated "No Taxation Without Representation" This made colonists protest against the parliament. They wanted independence because of no representative. Great Britain
