- The narrator was thinking about his lost Lenore and hears a knock at his chamber door

- When the narrator got up to see what the tapping was,he walked to his chamber door and opened it,when a raven flew into his bed chambers.

- The narrator wanted to see his sweet lenore,he asked the raven,the raven said NEVERMORE
- The narrator got fed up with the raven and told the raven to leave but the raven said NEVERMORE.
- In the end the raven left and the narrator was mad and upset.
