- Hi. I am Antonio Bautista. I have been employed as driver-conductor of the Auto Bus Transport Systems, Inc.
- My travel routes are Manila-Tuguegarao via Baguio, Baguio-Tuguegarao via Manila, and Manila-Tabuk via Baguio. My livelihood comes from this, because I was paid on commission basis, with 7% of the total gross income per travel, on a twice a monthly basis.
- On January 03, 2000, while Bautista was driving the Autobus No. 114 along Sta. Fe, Nueva Vizcaya, the bus he was driving accidentally bumped the rear portion of Autobus No. 124, causing the latter vehicle to stop at a sharp curve without giving any warning.
- Oh no!This is a big problem!
- This accident would not have happened if the management did not compel me to drive back to Roxas, Isabela, after arriving in Manila. I haven’t slept for almost 24 hours!
- After a month, the management sent him a termination letter.
- I will file a Complaint for Illegal Dismissal with Money Claims for nonpayment of 13th month pay and service incentive leave pay against Autobus. I will fight for what should be given to me.
