- The Erie canal i a big part in history because it was a way that the boats could get in and out without having to worry about something bad happen to there boats. And some of you may think does this canal have something to do with lake Erie and the Erie canal and it does ! It is actually the first waterway that has connected the alentic ocean and the great lakes

- Yes i invented the Erie canal
- The Erie canal helps with transportation and other things
- Erie canals help with the water and the canal looks something like this only with water and I would compare it to something like a bridge that helps people cross .
- You can transport to a place something like this and then you can get whatever you have on your boat to the place that it needs to be and with all of the shipping boats stuck out in the sea it is making it to were we cant get some of the things that we may need!
