- we use these holes for cooking and to store food
- But in Neolithic packed mud bricks together to build around or rectangular houses and sometimes added stones or branches to add strength to the tall walls.
- In Paleolithic times the jobs were farming, basket making, pottery
- They dug holes in the ground to cook and boil their water in. They also stored food in the floor.
- This helped them survive harsh weather and wild animals. It also made life easier because they didn't have to move as much. It allowed larger communities to help them survive. They had better ways of cooking.
- making baskets was important so we could carry our food.
- Neolithic people didn't just want to survive they wanted to make things pretty and be more decorative.
- They encouraged people to get better at their work and to improve. They polished stones and made shiny jewelry.
- It helped them create a more stable, healthy, good quility work ,tools, home, jewelry, and pottery, baskets unable to survive with a little bit of class.
