- Brutus goes to see that lucius is sound asleep and wishes he could do the same. So he wakes lucius up and tells him to do these tasks.
- yes my lord
- wake boy
- It is very early in the morning, and Brutus allows Lucius tp let the men in. Cassius and 5 other men enter. And is being imtroduced to one another.
- goodmorning this is casca,decius,cinna,metellus,and trebonius
- you are all welcome to enter
- nobody else will know about this
- after lucius exits, Brutus shakes each of their hand and makes them swear that they will not expose their plan to kill caesar. Because if they do they arent considered a noble man.
- we promise nobody will know
- They discuss how they are going to kill caesar and why. They next discuss if they should kill anthoy as well,but decide just caesar and let anthoy grief then laugh after caesars death. It is 3 am and Brutus tells them to leave and go home.
- Everybody exits except for Brutus he enters lucius room saying he is lucky.(Portia enters) and asks him what is wrong because his actions and attitude towards her is different, but he contiunes to say nothing is wrong.
- please my lord, tell me what is upsetting you
- oh my love, nothing is the matter i'm just not feeling to well.
- i can only discuss my plans with a healthy man
- Portia exits. Lucius lets in sick Ligarius, Brutus orders Lucius to leave. Brutus tells Ligarius that he can only tell a healthy man his plans, and Ligarius says that his words killed off his sickness, and he will follow him no matter what.(thunder) Brutus tells him to follow. They exit.
- you honorable words wiped my sickness away, I will follow you with a healthy heart only knowing that Brutus will lead me.
