- What has been the issue with your pet recently?
- She has been losing weight very quickly and will not eat. This has been happening for a few weeks.
- I see, have you thought about euthanasia as an option to relive her pain?
- Not at all, could you inform me of what that is exactly?
- Euthanasia is when we help end an animal suffering by giving them anesthetics to help with a fast and painless death.
- Oh I see, since she is getting older, I do not want her to suffer any more.
- So how do you feel about the process. It is basically painless and will help end their suffering since she cannot be treated.
- I'll go through with it.
- Ok, we will begin the procedure tomorrow morning so you can have time to be with your dog before she passes.
- Thank you so much, I will be her tomorrow. I am willing to end her suffering rather than let her live in this condition.
