  • Poverty is a sad truth. About 9.2%, or at least 700 million, are suffering from extreme poverty right now, classified as living on less than $1.90 a day
  • Poverty itself is a problem to society because these people can't live comfortably. There are other problems like hunger, crime, illness and poor sanitation.
