- I'm not hungry!I'll stick to my "sherbet"
- I got your favorite, Damn girl did you go on a diet or something, It looks like you lost 20Kg.
- No EATING!!!
- Jodi and Mariam have been best friends since the age of 2. Jody just turned 18 and wants to experience new things. She is offered pile (ice) at this party and doesn't know exactly what it is but still tries it.
- I'm really worried about you. I can help you.
- I know a really good counsellor that can help you
- I can't stop, It so addictive and it's ruining my life.
- It's been a week since they saw each other at the party and Mariam knows something is happening. Jody is experiencing side effects of ice: loss of appetite and has lost extensive weight in a week. (the "sherbet" is ice in the form of powder).
- I'm really glad you came to me. I'll help you through this difficult time in your life. You just need to be honest with me.
- Mariam is really worried about Jody, so she observed her for the last week and has come to the conclusion after doing some reasearch, that she has been taking ice with the observations made: white crystal-like substance, enlarged pupils, vomiting, aggressive, always tried, loss of appetite and weight loss.
- I missed you
- Mariam confronts Jody about taking ice, telling her all the effects it does to your body. She refers her to a rehab centre, down the street from Jody's house. She tells her that she'll be there every step of the way and that she'll never be alone.
- Jody makes an appointment at the rehab centre and books with Cherry the counsellor. Cherry outlines the importance of life and how drugs can jeopardise that.
- After 3 months Jodi becomes clean and she couldn't have been happier. Her life is back on trace and her school work has never been better. Jodi and Mariam catch up.
