- Before the battle of Trenton and Saratoga, the colonists were losing over and over again.Some lost hope and left. The one who stayed had to see their comrades die and surrender after the surrender.The colonist had to defend on their own.France haven't join the war yet so most were militia
- With the win of the battles Saratoga the People started believing they could do it.They thought that because were fighting for something(freedom),That they can win.It also showed french that they could trust the colonist and join the war in their favor.

- The battle of Yorktown took place in York town Virginia in 1781.York town was the battle which ended everything.It was the end of the war between the colonist and the British which the Colonist won.
