- Ewww this place is a dump. It is basically a desert.
- In 1803 the United States doubled their land. They bought from Europe for only $15 million.

- I am going to label this place as the "Great American Desert
- Lewis & Clark were the first people to explore Kansas. They spent 123 miles of their 8,000 miles exploring Kansas. Lewis & Clark both thought it was a great beauty.
- Jackson's Speech
- These Indians need to move. Lets force them to Kansas.
- Zebulon Pike was the second person to explore Kansas. He described Kansas like a desert and called it the driest place on Earth.

- In 1829 Jackson had a speech about moving the Indians. They eventually moved them. Once it was done more than 12 million people were excited and happy about it.
- The IRA forced East American Indians to relocate to Kansas. The government chose Kansas. Because the government thought no one could survive there.
