- The Soviet Union promises to defend Cuba with Soviet arms and nuclear weapons enter Cuba.
- I will order a blockade on Cuba in the Atlantic Ocean.
- President Kennedy warns the Soviet Union that any missile attack from Cuba would trigger an all-out attack on the Soviet Union.
- Do not allow the Soviet ships to pass!!
- The United States discovered Soviet missile bases in Cuba, and some of the missiles can reach Washington DC. Kennedy informs the nation about Cuba and his plans to remove nuclear weapons from Cuba.

- President Kennedy "quarantines" Cuba by not allowing ships to come within 500 miles of it. A large invasion force was formed and troops waited in Florida for the possible breakout of war.
