- One day, He accompanied his foster brother to a jousting tournament, but realized he forgot to bring Kay’s sword. Stumbled upon a perfectly good sword sticking out of a stone. Relieved, he pulled the sword out easily.
- The Lady of the Lake
- The wizard Merlin agreed to help Uther win over Ygraine his love.Uther married Ygraine, and nine months later she gave birth to a son who had been conceived while Uther masqueraded as the duke.
- Lancelot
- After being crowned king, Merlin revealed the truth of Arthur’s birth and became his advisor. With Merlin’s help, Arthur defeated many enemies and brought peace to his kingdom. Arthur named his kingdom Camelot, and all was well.
- “If you insist on surrounding yourself with such dangers,” Merlin told Arthur, “then you’re going to need a powerful weapon to protect yourself. This is the Lady of the Lake. The sword she holds is Excalibur.
- The Lady of the Lake requested that the boy be made a Knight of the Round Table. Lancelot quickly became Arthur’s finest knight & Lancelot became one of Arthur’s dearest friends.
