- Yes there are chances but do you know how lightnings are formed?
- A friend of Goutham came to his home for a sleepover. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily with thunderstorms and lightnings. So they started to chat.
- Billy was imagining about the disaster the Tornado and Ligtning.
- So how do we prevent the lightning from striking our homes?
- Well we have the Lightning Arrester.
- Now Goutham is asking about the formation of Lightning.
- Lightning is a strong and fast discharge of electricity from a storm cloud to the ground, within the cloud, or to another cloud. Lightning forms due to the separation of electrical charges. As air and moisture rise, positive charges are carried to the top of the storm cloud.
- Now Billy is curious to know about the prevention methods of lightning
- Lightning arrester This is a device used to protect houses from lightning strikes. This device consists of a long thick copper rod passing from top of the building to the ground.
