- so one day the king asked the soldierswho is gonna be able to fight the philistine AKA the giant and all of the soldiers were scared the David was collecting rocks and over heard what the king said so since he heard all the other soldiers say no he stepped in and said I will then the king and some of his brothers and soldiers started to laugh so David said yo'll see so that day he went back and said i want to fight the giant and the king had second thought's about his decision and said as you wish.
- so the king put silver armor David was not pleased he told the king i don't need armor god protects me so the king try to explain to him that he would probably need it but David refused so the king told David alright so David took off the armor and carried along later that day he went near the river to collect rocks for his battle but suddenly he and all the solders heard a huge thump so the king told the messenger to go call all of the solders and David so they all reported to the king and the king explained the plan so he said if they win they will have us but if we win we will have there men and they all agreed so it was a deal.
