- This was a very important decision that would decide whether the colonies split apart. Officials had to decide on a compromise in which took ideas from both sides. This decision was essential to create peace and keep the colonies together.
- Small states need more equality in government ! - Plus the big states need more recognition. We should give them more votes based on their population!

- If you don't, we'll make sure the 13 colonies all have their own state! Our government is unfair!
- This decision is pretty important, but these are good points so-- The articles of confederation are the worst!
- Although the Articles of Confederation were the first form of government for the colonies, the colonists quickly came to realize that change was necessary. The Article of Confederation was a small start for government and it actually helped with trial and error, but the Article of Confederation also informed colonists on what they needed to change to make the government equal. The Article's cons helped form the U.S constitution in which we still use today.
