Storyboard Text

  • Lincoln arrives at Fox Theatre
  • John Wilkes Booth Shoot President
  • John Wilkes Booth escapes
  • Lincoln and his wife arrive at the Fox Theatre as the guest of honor. They were seated in a box just above the stage, getting a good view of the play. Everything had seem to be going well, until it wasn't.
  • Peterson's Boarding House
  • As Lincoln's guard had left the President's box unattended, John Wilkes Booth had gotten into the booth. In doing so, he had then shot President Lincoln on the head with a hand gun. This was the first time a President had ever been assassinated.
  • Manhunt/Investigation
  • After shooting the President, Booth has no other choice but to escape the scene by jumping off the balcony. In the process, he broke his leg yet still managed to escape. The police then sent out a search for him, which lasted around 12 days.
  • John Wilkes Booth captured/killed
  • After being shot in the head, President Lincoln was rushed to the Peterson's Boarding House just across the street from the theatre. He was then helped by doctors. However, the next day at 7:22am, Lincoln had died.
  • After he assassinated the President, booth used a get away horse to escape the theatre. Booth was able to escape for 12 days without being caught. However, being the most wanted man in America, people were bound to finding his whereabouts at some point.
  • After 12 days, police officers finally found booth in a house. Once surrounding his house, they tried smoking him out so he can turn himself in. He didn't give in, and after looking through his window, a soldier shot him, thinking it was one of Booth's comrades.
