- The 1st estate was running out of money they were in a financial crisis.The 1st and 2nd estates wanted to tax the 3rd estate and wanted to vote by order.The 3rd estate was super unhappy and felt that they should be able to have more votes because they had way more people.

- The 3rd estates was so mad, that on June 20th 1789 they established the national assembly. They pledge an oath that day that went down in history. The constitution of 1791 was for the 3rd estate to vote on having a monarchy.

- On July 14, 1789 the state prison in Paris was attacked. The people wanted a revolution and they wanted what was inside of the prison not the people. This storming went down in history as a revolution.

- These women were nothing but moms paying taxes for bread and food that they did not even get. They marched around 10 miles to the castle to demand food. They ended up getting cake. They were furious. They made the royals move back to were they live to see how it was living in there shoes. They promised to try and help but when they moved back they lived the same life style.

- The old republic was gone and there became mass slaughter. The new leader Robespierre was in town and sure did love his guillotine. He would go around and accuse people of being against the up rising. Everyone listened to him and more than 40,000 died during this reign of terror.

- After taking power in 1804 he claimed him self new emperor. For some people he was a military success for other he was a waste of time. He lost a battle and ended up be banished to an island he 3 years later escaped and came back into power. But he soon made to many reforms and got banished to an even smaller island which there he died.
