In this scene, A duel is arranged between Hamlet and Laertes. During the match, Claudius agrees with Laertes to kill Hamlet. They plan that Hamlet will die either from the poisoned sword or from the poisoned wine. The plans goes bad when Gertrude drinks from the poisoned cup and dies. Hamlet cuts Claudius with his sword that is poisoned, then forces him to drink from the poisoned cup. Claudius dies.

In this scene, Hamlet has passed away because he was stabbed by the poisoned sword ,and the captains are carrying Hamlet's body. While the soldiers are shooting their guns and cannons in honor of Hamlet's death.
