When the Earth was first made, there was no light. It was very hard for the animals and the people to see in the darkness. Finally the animals decided to do something about it.
The fox was the first to try. He sneaked to the place where the sun was kept. He waited till no one was looking and grabbed it and put it into his mouth. The Sun was to hot for the foxes mouth so half way back home he dropped it. Since the first foxes mouth burnt caryying the sun so now all the foxes mouths are black.
Then next was the possum. Before the possum went to get one piece of the sun she had a very bushy tail. But when she went to get the piece of the sun she burnt off all off.
Then the grandmother spider tried. She had woven a basket out of her webs and went to were the sun was kept and took a piece of the sun and put in her basket. When he brought it back home she coudn't clime to the topest tree and put te sun in the sky she needed someone else to to it.
Then she realized that the buzzard could fly the basket up in the sky so the sun would be in the sky. So that day when the bird was flying the sun burned some of his feather off.
Then the animals lived happly ever after!! THE END
