  • Hey Monica, how are you? I am a bit confused about the science homework, can you help me?
  • Of course!
  • I am confused about Newtons First Law of Motion
  • The Law of Inertia means that an object in motion stays in motion, or an object at rest stays at rest until an unbalanced net forceacts up on it
  • Come on, lets go try it!
  • As you can see, the soccer ball lays on the ground at rest until someone kicks it. Once I kick it it wont stop until it looses its momentum, if I miss the shot, or it will get stopped by the net of the goal.
  • That helped me so much, thank you!
  • Monica and I meet up at school but I am confused about the science homework.
  • Of course I can help you. Newtons Third Law of Motion is for every action, or force, thier is an equal and opposite reaction
  • I ask Monica for help. She explains Newton's First Law of Motion, or The Law of Inertia, very well and she wants to show me an example.
  • For example, if I were to jump, my legs would apply a force to the ground, and the ground would then apply an equal and opposite reaction force that propels me into the air.
  • Monica brings me to the soccer field to then show me her example.
  • Bye Isa, see you tomorrow!
  • Monica is now confused about Newton's Third Law of Motion, so I gladly explain it to her.
  • I also had a question about the science homework. What is Newtons Third Law of Motion? That is the one I was the most confused about.
  • I give a clear example to Monica's question and now she understands it.
  • Oh, ok, that makes much more sense now. Thank you so much!
  • Schools done and I say goodbye to Monica. Now I can finally go home and finish my science homework.
  • Bye Monica, see ya! And thanks again for the help!
