  • Leona Mae D. Pangan 12 Hagar
  • Wuthering Heightsby Emily Bronte
  • Catherine Earnshaw, our main character, has been described as having the "sweetest smile," despite her reputation as a mischievous and strong-willed young woman. In a sense, she was loved more deeply than she realized, and that love was so powerful that it killed her in the end, but it was her heart and love that carried the story, for it is her heart and love that carried the story. As a result, the incredible events that followed arose.
  • When Catherine's father, Mr. Earnshaw, returns home from a trip with a ragged orphan boy named Heathcliff, Catherine's brother, Hindley, comes to despise this orphan. Cathy, on the other hand, grows to love Heathcliff and the two become inseparable, Hindley treating him cruelly jealous of Mr. Earnshaw's pride and immense love for him.He causes a rift between himself and his family by choosing to remain bitter.
  • Mr. Earnshaw has become frail and is on the verge of dying, allowing Hindley to return from his trip. boarding school with his naive and oblivious wife, and to take over the family's finances. He exacts vengeance on Heathcliff by depriving him of his education rather than making and treating him. This comes back to bite him when his wife gives birth to Hareton, who dies shortly after, causing Hindley to become depressed and turn to alcohol, isolating himself from his son.
  • Catherine is speaking to Nelly, the housemaid and narrator, telling Nelly of her deep and consuming love for Heathcliff, yet she says she cannot marry him, speaking of how Edgar, her neighbor and inheritor of Thrushcross Grange, can take better care of her socially and financially, Heathcliff only hearing her speak negatively about him and not hearing of her love for him, runs away broken and alone.humiliated. Heathcliff does not return that night, so Cathy marries Edgar.
  • Heathcliff reappears six months after Cathy's wedding, polished and impressive, and Cathy leaps at the opportunity. I jumped into his arms, overjoyed to see him again. Edgar is envious of Heathcliff because his wife's feelings for him are still strong, causing her to frequently visit Heathcliff at Wuthering Heights. Edgar's sister, Isabella, falls in love with him as well, prompting her to elope with him. Heathcliff only married her to exact vengeance on Edgar for stealing Cathy.
