The soldier gave Mr.White the Monkeys Paw which can grant 3 wishes. However it is very dangerous.
"Here is the Monkeyś Paw, do not use it. It is very dangerous."
"What should we wish for?"
To give it a try Mr.White wished for $200.
"Well to see if it works how about you wish for $200."
"Hmm ok, Ï wish for $200."
"The Monkey's Paw Worked.."
"No! My Son!"
"Im sorry to inform you but your son was caught in the machinery and has passed away."
Their wish came true, but at a great cost.
"To compensate for his death we want to offer you $200."
"I don't think that would be the best."
Even with Mr.White's warning, Mrs. White grabbed the Monkey's Paw and wished for Herbert to come back.
"You have to wish for our son back."
Herbert come to the door, but it was not the Herbert they knew before. Mr.White quickly grabbed the Monkey's paw and wished him away.
"Is that you Herbert?" "Im coming!"
He got his wish off in time and his son disappeared.
