  • The ghost was seen by Bernardo and Francisco but Horatio and Marcellus did not believe it . They went out themselves and saw the ghost .They tried to speak to it but the ghost disappeared before they got the chance to hear a reply. They were left with thoughts that it was a sense of there imagination.

  • Hamlets mom gets married to his uncle (Claudius) after the death of her husband. Hamlet appears in all black because he is mourning his fathers death and of his mother marrying so quickly after the death of King Hamlet. The queen says to move on as everyone passes and is natural cycle of life.
  • O all you host of heaven! O earth! what else?And shall I couple hell?
  • Revenge his foul and most unnatural murder.
  • Hamlet goes to explain all that has been going on. Such as his fathers death and the surprisingly quick marriage celebration not 2 months after King Hamlets Death. He goes on to say how he is feeling about all that has been going on and wishes Claudius had not been throne. Also wishing to not exist in a time as now
  • Horatio and Marcellus tell Hamlet they saw what looked like King Hamlet. As the wedding is being celebrated Hamlet, Horatio, and Marcellus head out around midnight to see if the ghost would appear. The ghost beckoned for Hamlet and Hamlet leave and follows the ghost.
  • Hamlet and the ghost discuss how King Hamlet has passed. King Hamlet ask Hamlet to revenge Claudius for his death. The ghost ask to get revenge on Claudius but to leave the queen alone.
  • Hamlet had went back to Horatio and Marcellus after the ghost disappeared. He discuss with them that he will be acting strangely. He asked of them to not say anything to anyone of what they've seen or been told by Hamlet. He then made them swear on his sword.
