Eden appeared at the end of a rainbow one day as a gift from Gaia to Penelope and Odysseys. She was named a goddess of family, natural beauty, and delight. She was sister to many of their children, most infamously, Adam. Gaia promised Eden life so long as she protected Adam.
As Eden grew older she often grew envious of her brother's many accomplishments and strongly disliked him and his fame. Although she remembered her promise to Gaia and did not harm him.
One day Eden was walking in her garden when she overheard Adam talking with Oaken, a geceipgtul god who brought feelings of vengeance and hatred to those he was around. Eden heard them gossiping about her and had decided enough was enough.
Eden began plotting her revenge when she was lured to the Tree of Life. A single apple fell and she took a bite. As she swallowed, she noticed Adam's name engraved on the apple. Before she could take another the apple became stuck in her throat. She turned as red as the apple itself.
Eden's death was believed to have been caused through a curse of Gaia. She had been plotting the death of the very person she had promised to protect.
