Hi! I'm John Baptiste Lamarck, a French biologist, and botanist.
There was a gathering of philosophers and scientist in the castle, a few of them got to know one another..
Nice meeting you! I'm Aristotle, a Greek philosopher, and I made contributions in the field of philosophy and science.
Nice meeting you two! I'm Empedocles, a Greek philosopher who is best known for originating the cosmogonic theory of the four classical elements.
Great! I'm a naturalist too! I'm Georges Louis-Buffon, a French naturalist and mathematician.
I am Erasmus Darwin, a respected physician, a well-known poet, philosopher, botanist, and naturalist.
I believe that all organisms share a common ancestor.
The two philosophers, Erasmus Darwin and Georges Louis-Buffon went outside to further discuss with one another about their findings and beliefs about field of Evolution
Ohh...
I think that certain organs in related animals have structural differences and that these differences are caused by the environment. Additionally, because each species is uniquely created, any changes that occur are degenerative.
How about you?
Meanwhile, the three philosophers, Aristotle, Jean Baptiste Lamarck, and Empedocles are also discussing their work and contributions in the field of Evolution
We believe that all living organisms undergo changes through time.
What about yours? What is your contribution?
During my time, the widely accepted theory of inheritance was that it drives the development of new organs or the modification of existing ones. My theory is based on this idea. On the other hand, I also believe that disuse leads to the degeneration of organs. I do not think that species become extinct, but rather that they evolve into different species.
After their discussion Aristotle, Empedocles, and Jean Lamarck went and found the other two philosophers and enjoy the day together.
