The Aztecs were also a sacrificial community, they would sacrifice there people to get the sun to come up in the morning.
The floating gardens are just a great idea. The sign told them to build a city in a lake, but they had to farm. So they had the idea to build up dirt in the lake and plant in them. It was one of the best adaptations to a problem ever.

The jaguar warriors were an elite military group among the Aztec ranks. The criteria for becoming one was you had to capture not kill 12 enemies in 2 battles, because killing them was considered weak. The weapon that made them so feared was called a macuahuitl. It had obsidian sides and a wooden frame that could kill there enemies in one hit.
