- The government isn't listening to our concerns!! Our farms are failing and we're making no money!!!
- Eventually, the Farmers Alliance forms, as they band together in a stand.
- Greenbacks are ruining our economy. Inflation is making the cost of living raise, and we aren't making enough off of our crops.

- What should we do? We can't keep living like this. Maybe it's time for child #23 to get a job...
- I don't know honey, maybe we should talk to other farmers.
- All over the place, farmers started to question themselves. What could they do if the government wasn't listening?
- We are taking a stand! Join our alliance if you want equality!!
- The farmers decided to meet up in Florida, to start a group that would help them find support in various ways.
- End protetctive bank tarriffs!!!!!
- We want direct elections of senators!!
- Adopt the subtreasury plan!!!!
- Tighten up the railroad regulations!!!
- Eventually as gold was found, credit became easily obtained, and the farmers were less distressed. Although populism slowly declined after this, some of their ideas were pushed foraward into the new century. Their job was done.
