- Have you ever heard of the Leander pearls?They were stolen 19 years ago, and never recovered. My lodger, Peeler Mardo has heard that Wally Sype, the suspect, still has the pearls. There is a grand of $25.000 to the person who finds them.
- Wow, that is very interesting. I'm in, where do you live? I'm going to visit Peeler Mardo.
- Kathy, Peeler Mardo's dead. That means that somebody else knows and there's more people interested in the Leander pearls. I know that Sype lives somewhere near Olympia and he likes the goldfish.
- I can't believe it, do you have any suspects?This is getting very weird, be careful please.
- I'm Sunset, I'm a friend of Peeler Mardo. I know things about the pearls. Let's find Sype together.
- Ok, but we have to be careful. There's more people interested, their names are Carol Donovan and Rush Madder.
- Carmady is a private detective, his friend Kathy, tells him that his lodger knows something about the Leander pearls that were stolen 19 years ago because he talks in his sleep. She heard that the suspect, Wally Sype, still has the pearls and has hidden them. Carmady decides to search for the pearls and share with Kathy the reward offered by the insurance company.
- Carmady visits Peeler Mardo to get more information, but at that moment he's already dead. He was killed by Carol Donovan and Rush Madder, they know about them because they heard Peleer Mardo speak when he was drunk. Carol Donovan saw Carmady when he went to visit Peeler, so she with Rush Madder manages to delay Carmady and get a head start.
- After a bad meeting, Carol and Rush are pending on Carmady. The detective decides to go to Olympia and he finds Sunset, a friend of Peeler Mardo who knows something about the pearls. He tells the detective where Carmady is living and agree to work with him, but in that moment Carol and Rush finds them. During an argument, Rush collapses unconscious and Carol shoots Sunset, Camady lock Carol in the bathroom and leaves to try to find Mr. Sype in Sunset's car.
