- The Great FearThe Great Fear was a period of panic riot by the peasants. The peasants were afraid that the monarch and nobility were trying to starve them.
- The Declaration of the Rights of ManThe Declaration declares that all men are free and equal before the law. This also brought the question should women have equal rights too.
- The Women's march on VersaillesThousands of women armed with broomsticks, pitchforks, and pistols marched to Versailles because their children were starving because there was no bread. After meeting some of the women King Louis XVI was forced to accepts the new decrees.
- The war against Austria and PrussiaAfter Austria refused to recall their troops from the french border so on April 20th, 1792 France officially declared war on Austria and Prussia. The french decided to strike first. The war ended up being a disaster for the french.
- The rise of the Paris CommuneIt was a provisional government that was not ran by the monarch.
- The death of King Louis XVIKing Louis XVI was found guilty of treason and was executed by the guillotine. He was the last King before the fall of the monarchy.
