- Scerio Scenario: Your ILA teacher assigns your class 10 questions to answer individually before class tomorrow. Tommy and Chuckie decided to each do 5 questions and then swap answers that evening after they finish.
- Now, remember to complete this assignment that has 10 questions by yourself. Have a good rest of your day!
- The teacher assigns an assignment to Tommy and Chuckie, instructing them to do it alone
- Tommy and Chuckie go home, making plans to work together on an assignment that they were supposed to do alone
- Hey, I have an idea ! What if I do one half of the assignment that we are supposed to do, ande you do the rest... that way we won't have to do that much work!
- I think that's a great idea, and we can swap the answers. The teacher doesn't have to know
- The day that they were supposed to do the assignment arrived. They both had only done the half of the questions, and then swapped answers
- Alright class, bring me your homework from yesterday!
- Yes, and we are so sorry about that. You specifically told is to work on this independently, yet we worked on it together. We are so sorry
- The teacher figures out that they have been cheating, and Tommy and chuckie realized their mistake. They now know that cheating doesn't get anyone ahead, and only makes you worse
- Tommy, Chuckie, I have noticed that you to have the same answers wrong, and this looks like Tommy's handwriting on half of the page, and Chuckie's handwriting on the second half of the page. Did you two cheat?
- 1- Yes I would consider this cheating because the teacher instructed them to do it by them self, but they did it together, getting answers from each other. If they weren't sure if they were allowed to do it together, they should have asked. 2- In my sciencro, Tommy and Chuckie, two students at a school are cheating 3- They cheated by doing the work together. THe teacher told them to work on it by themselves, yet they both decided to work together. THey could have gotten different answers if they had worked separately. 4- If I were in this situation, I would first ask the teacher is we are allowed to do it together, but if I didn't ask, I would refuse to do it together, because me and the other person would be lying and it would be hurting us, nobody else.
