  • MOM!I am BLEEDING, I found blood in my undies!
  • You are going through something called our period, also called the menstruation cycle.
  • The follicular phase is the longest phase and it goes from your first day of your period to when you ovulate, in this phase the ovaries produce follicles which house the eggs which triggers the lickening of the lining, lasting about 11-27 days.
  • HUHHH!!!What's that?
  • There is three phases int he menstruation cycle which is what your going through, the menstruation, follicular phase, ovulation and luteal.
  • What does each phase mean?
  • WOW!What are the others?
  • Oh that's too long!
  • The nest phase is the ovulation phase in which the egg is released from the ovary, this egg then travels through the fallopian tube ready to be fertilized.. The last phase which is the luteal phase is when your hormones change, which causes symptoms like breast tenderness, mood changes, bloating and headaches. In this phase the follicle which was ruptured closes and forms à corpus luteum which increases progesterone, latest about 9-16 days. If the egg is fertilized then the body starts preparing for birth, if it isn't it is absorbed into the body and lining. And that is what is happening in you body right now!And the when you have a baby the the baby come out of your uterus, because the uterus and its lining protects the baby while its growing. The cervix opens 10 cm to let the baby through when you have a child, it is attached to the uterus.
  • Cool I wanna have a child in the future!
