The Berlin Airlift was when the U.S. airlifted goods to the people in West Berlin.
The Vietnam War was when Ho Chi Minh invaded the South to unite Vietnam and make it one big communist country. The U.S. sent troops to South Vietnam to help them in the war, but after a few years of fighting the U.S. withdrew the troops from South Vietnam and Vietnam became communist.

The Korean War started when North Korea invaded South Korea as an effort to unite the peninsula. The North was supported by the USSR and the South was supported by the United nations. North Korea was pushed back and Korea stayed divided into Communist North Korea and Democratic South Korea.
Fall of the Berlin Wall
The Space Race was the competition the U.S. and the USSR to have the best space program. The USSR launched the first satellite into space and the U.S. created NASA and put the first man on the moon.
The Cuban Missile Crisis started when a U.S. spy plane took pictures of Soviet missiles being produced in Cuba. It was the highest tension during the Cold War but was peacefully resolved two weeks later. The Soviet Union removed missiles from Cuba and the U.S. removes missiles from Turkey.
After many protests in Berlin, the Berlin wall is torn down in 1989. After the wall is torn down East and West Germany reunite to become a democratic country.
