Storyboard Text

  • The King just passed a new act. Adding taxes to tea.
  • Does anyone have any ideas on how to rebel?
  • Protest?
  • We should enter the tea ships!!
  • So here's the plan...
  • The Sons of Liberty had a meeting concerning The Tea Act. It was December of 1773.
  • If we had a representativewe wouldn't have to do this.
  • They then went on to talking about what they should do.They went with entering the tea ships.
  • WE ARE NOT GOING TO TOLERATE THIS UNFAIRNESS
  • YOU DON'T DESERVE ANY RIGHTS
  • They planned out what they were going to do.They were going to dress up as Natives to blend in with the other people.
  • Now that we did this they might listen to us.
  • They, after long talks went to enter the ships and throw the tea off of them.
  • They threw the bags of tea off the supply ships. The King wasn't happy with the rebellious act.
  • THE KING IS NOT HAPPY WITH YOU COLONISTS
  • They didn't want to make it seem like what they did was vandalism, so they didn't harm anyone or break anything. They also supposedly sweeped the ships and even replaced a broken padlock.
