- Tommy and Chuckie decided to each do 5 questions & then swap answers that evening after they finish.
- I am so tired let me hang out with tommy for a little bit before I get the last 10 questions completed for my assignment.
- Hello Tommy! Working all day I still have these 10 questions left.
- I know, me too. I am so tired. what if we do 5 questions each and share 1/2 the work. This way we will both do a little and learn a little ??
- That is a great idea ... I am in, lets do that.
- Will we get into trouble! If I do only 1/2 the work I will learn only half of the lesson. I think that will be wrong.
- 1. Would you consider this cheating?Yes, Not doing my work on my own but copying from another person is cheating. 2. Who is cheating in your scenario? Both Tommy and Chuckie are cheating in this scenario as both are talking about copying from each other. 3.How did they cheat? Explain.Both plan on copying1/2 of the work form each other which is cheating 1/ of the other person's work. If they were discussing the topic and went and worked on it on there own that would be studying but both talked about copying and that is cheating.
- 1. How would you handle this situation if you were placed in this situation? If I was in this situation I would suggest that we talk about the topic and then work on it together. We can discuss what we write and how we got our answers to understand the problem better but definitely would not do only 1/2 of my work and allow my friend to copy from me as I will be doing a disservice by preventing my friend from learning.
