Based on surveys, 62% of our daily lives are spent at home. Therefore, we have to manage our energy consumption efficiently.

People tend to take energy for granted, and many are unaware of the opportunities they have to reduce energy use. This storyboard provide a step-by-step approach aimed at increasing energy-conserving behavior at the facility to achieve awareness goals on management, saving money, and protecting the environment.
At the workplace
No matter where we work, we will be using a lot of electrical devices. Thus, a good habit has to be instilled in ourselves.
- 36% air-conditioner - 21% water heater- 18% refrigerator- 11% tv and computerothers include lighting, kitchen appliances, washing machine etc.
Inside our office
We must have common sense and not waste energy at the office, even though the bills are paid by management,
-do not leave devices charging overnight-use natural lighting in the day-unplug all sockets if going out for more than 3 days-do not leave taps dripping-turn off light when not needed.
Impact
Saving electricity does not just benefit us financially.
Office equipment, water heating, lighting, cooling, computers, ventilation, space heating, refrigeration are examples of devices and appliances that we will come across in the workplace.
- remind co-workers to switch off devices- turn off lights when not in use- install weather strips to prevent air regulation disruption- keep doors and windows closed in air conditioned roomscontrol thermostat temperature accordingly
It saves utility cost and prolong appliance useful life.Protect the air and prevent climate change.Reduce amount of toxic flume.Conserve resources and save lives, particularly the future generations.
