Storyboard Text
- This is Carlos. Carlos has had to use a wheelchair his whole life. He notices how people dont really wanna be around him.
- Carlos makes a friend.
- Carlos is reluctant, but gives it a try after school.
- Carlos is new to the school, and wants to make a lot of friends but it seems other students stay away from him because they think hes weird.
- Carlos finds comfort with the support page.
- Throughout the day, Carlos is very anxious, and wants to talk to someone. He decides to ask a student if there are any spaces for disabled kids in the school. He finds that there is a social media page.
- Carlos goes to school the next day and thanks his friend
- Carlos has tried to stay away from social media throughout his whole life, as he finds it distracting. He needs more support though, so he downloads Instagram and checks out the account.
- Carlos tells others about this.
- Carlos realizes that this page can be viewed any time of the day, and he can access it anywhere. He gets a whole lot of feelings off of his chest, answering as many little survey questions as he needs to feel supported.
- Carlos is so glad his friend told him about this, so that way he can be more open and try and make new friends
- Carlos begins telling as many students as he can so that way people in a situation similar to his can get support from teachers, even when it's out.
