- Introduction
- Hundreds of millions of kids grow up without a safe home or even a home at all poverty affects many people and probably even people around you.
- Naration
- Poverty- the state of being extremely poor.
- The affects of poverty are seriously dangerous. Kids grow up not being able to get the medical help they need causing them to get sick and become malnourished because of lack of food. The affect can be very deadly. The kids will grow up with little to no education and there parents can't teach them because they more than likely grew up in poverty themselves.
- When Hans Hubermann got Liesel a gift he said “It wasn’t much but that's the best we can do” his wife Rosa Hubermann quickly responded “That’s the best we can do with the little money we have.”
- Conformation-Novel
- Hans had to go and sell cigarettes to get liesel a present because they didn't have the money to buy anything Liesel got 2 books for christmas and they wanted to save one because the next year she got nothing.
- Poverty is a very big problem in today's society

- Nearly 1/2 of the world's population — more than 3 billion people — live on less than $2.50 a day. More than 1.3 billion live in extreme poverty — less than $1.25 a day. 1 billion children worldwide are living in poverty. According to UNICEF, 22,000 children die each day due to poverty.
- Getting rid of poverty by provididng cheaper housing and better schooling to children will break the chain of poverty that will go there kids then there grand kids, There is almost no way for the rest of there family to get away from it
- Concession/Refutation
- Some say that the homeless are just too lazy to get a job and won't allow the homeless to live off of what they make
- During the time of the holocaust there were very little jobs available and most people were barely making enough to live. Military spending was a problem.
- Conclusion
- I think it's time everyone comes together as a community to show some of the less fortunate the values of life we have been experiencing since we were born and what we take for granted.
- The death rate from poverty is ridiculous and everyone suffers from it not just the children. The amount of people living in poverty alone is just insane.

- I agree with the fact that we shouldn't work for money that we don't get but i believe that building more places for the homeless and making housing and schooling cheaper around the places with the highest poverty rates could very well help them.
- Helping out the homeless by giving them some money every now and then isn't a bad idea either, these people are living off less than 5 dollars a day i think sharing a little bit of your wealth can be healthy for everyone.
- It takes everyone comign together to make the change we need to see in the society because these poverty rates couldn't be worse.
