- Ok class, so today we are going to be talking about the amendments. So the 1st amendment is freedom of speech, you can practice your religion, petition, and speak up for what you feel is right!
- Next we are going to talk about the 4th amendment, the 4th amendment is no unreasonable search and seizure so a police officer cant just walk come in your house without a warrant.
- Not without a warrant!
- We need to search your house.
- Now onto the 5th amendment, this means no double jeopardy so you can't be taken to court twice for the same case.

- Does anyone know what the 6th amendment is? Well ok, so the 6th amendment gives you the right to have your case heard by a jury... And a right to a speedy trial.
- Well that was fast.
- Lets know talk about the 7th amendment, this is where you have the right to a jury trial and a right to a lawyer. This is also suing for damages, so say you get in a car accident figuring out who's fault it is.
- Lastly, is the 8th amendment,this gives you the right to no cruel or unusual punishments so say if you vandalise a sign with spray paint you can't be executed for it. Well that looks like the bell see you all next class.
