- Take a look at all the diffferent people around the world!
- Well, Rosalind Franklin was just like us and was born into a Jewish and wealthy family! But what brought Franklin upon her successes and out of a normal life, was these upcoming influential events and people she came across..
- This is my very large family!
- Franklin wasn't like normal little kids... as she was surronded by her brothers and there handywork, she was compelled towards the craft and carpentry more than anything! This lead to the creations of models etc.
- YES! The ice cube takes up 9% more volume than the water itself!
- In Rosalind's time and community, she was expected to use her talents for community services, so falling in love with things like Physics and Chemistry was unusual for a kid in her community and time
- Rosalind was educated at many more places like King's Cellege London in the biophysist unit, Here she studied the DNA structure and x-ray difrraction on acids and proteins, working alongside Raymond Gosling/
- Franklin took pictures and X-rays of DNA to uncover their forms. This lead to her biggest discover... The structure of DNA! They discovered that DNA has a dry ‘A’ form and a wet ‘B’ form. They found out that it was shapped in a double helix shape. This was unleashed from the crucial information due to photograph 51. This photo was performed in a 100 hour procedure of x-Ray exposure performed by a machine refined by Franklin herself.
