What the Indus River civilization did in the daily life?
Hello !Welcome to the museum of the Planned Cities on the Indus. Today we are going to see some important aspects from this civilization.
In this picture you can see the Indus River, this river is one of the largest river in the world. The civilization used it for drinking, cooking, watering crops and washing, and they found fish for food.
We now that the civilization consisted of two great cities, Mohenjo daro & Harappa
An important fact is that:
Is also now that the Indus Valley civilization was first identified in 1972 in Harappa.
The writting system of the indus valley civilization remains a mystery but historians found their system in creamic, amulets, seals, etc
But in 1800 a.C, the writting system get to their decline, the system began to disappear.
If we talk about Harappa we can say that they practiced or applied agriculture, this known was from an excavation in Kalibigan that found a plowed field
In adittion they were also releated to cotton.
To finish this tour, I´m going to say that the historians also don´t know with detail how the Harappan civilization ends
But instead, in Mohenjo-Daro we know that it was dramatic sudden as raiders swept the city and then they moved on, leaving dead everywhere.
